YSC What We’d Wear - Percival AW12 Collection

YSC are great fans of British design, and even more so, production of clothing in Britain, so it warms our heart to talk about Percival and their rather lovely AW12 collection!

The brand started it’s journey in 2009, when designers / illustrators Chris Gove and Luke Stenzhorn came together to create a menswear label that lay it’s foundation in clothing that went beyond seasons and trends. Early on into the journey, the duo recruited a third member to the gang, Olivia Hegarty, who shared their passion of working with quality fabrics, that come complete with their own interesting design quirk…Three years down the line, the brand are still going strong, adding to their lis of suppliers and stockists, and here we take some time out to pick our favourite pieces from their online store.

Fashion House Givenchy under Riccardo Tisci’s reign, seems to go from strength to strength. The brand are casually redefining menswear design, playing with sexuality and power, and we’d say they are doing a very good job of it.

YSC What We’d Wear - The Grenson 5 for AW12

Gone are the days when I used to hate having to wear shoes that were even the slightest bit formal, as we hit 2012 it is now hard to prise a pair of well crafted shoes from my feet.

As a fan of British production and craftsmanship, it is great to see a number of retailers, beginning to return production to our fair shores, in a bid to reinstate the quality that we were once famed for.

One brand that have championed UK production of their collections is every man’s favourite shoe brand Grenson and with a history that is recorded back to 1866, this is without a shadow of a doubt a brand that you can trust and wear with pride.

Girls like to see you in them, and boys look with envy as you walk past them in a pair, so with this in mind, we thought it would be a good idea to highlight our favourite five that will see you well through the coming winter months and beyond.
