YSC SS13 Runway Watch - Christopher Raeburn

Mr Christopher Raeburn is now in his 4th or 5th season, and it’s very clear for the eye to see, that the focus still remains on producing quality outerwear, which will no doubt stand the test of time.

For his SS13 presentation, 21 looks took to the white runway, all of which had a clean silhouette, with a pretty no fuss attitude to what you, a customer, buys into. The beauty of this product, is really embedded into the construction of the garment, and the numerous interesting fabric choices which are made by the man at the helm. 

Pops of orange, a brushed silver, and ice white, played out nicely against the trademark khaki, whilst the print on the polo’s was playful, without being intimidating…this is really a collection for the everyday man, who understands what he is wearing, and wants to grow with the brands that he invests in.

The growth in Raeburn’s work this season, has come from the introduction of more tailored pieces, our favourite being the black jacket which is no doubt made from a recycled fabric, but evokes the young edginess of the brand.

Christopher Raeburn is certainly leaving his mark on our outerwear market, and YSC would go as far to say, that he is fast becoming the go to genius, or maestro for your outerwear fix season after season.
